Due for release is a 2CD set containing the complete June 26, 1977 show including the pre-programm. According to the update 'In even better sound than we had it before (and we had it in good sound already...)'. It comes with a 20 page booklet and an extra DIN A3 poster.

Elvis Sings ... is a double CD containing a nice collection of 67 'theme songs' recorded by Elvis. Elvis sings- Beatles songs, Hawaiian songs and even Beethoven. Surprised? During his career Elvis covered many songs that originally were written and recorded by some of the biggest names in the entertainment field. Among them are names from different music genres like Arthur Crudup, Bill Monroe, Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison from The Beatles, Kris Kristofferson and of course some of Little Richard's songs. We have a preview of 8 pages from the booklet.

This is a fantastic, much needed upgrade of some truly different and inspired shows. There is no doubt that this season was one of the most interesting he ever gave for its rare performances and random set-lists, which in my opinion makes this an essential release for everyone who appreciates live shows. Only one thing left to say-get it while you can!

Released on the Fans Only label is the CD 'Moody And Blue' featuring 22 alternate takes of the tracks from the 'Moody Blue' album. All taken from other official and bootleg releases.

Released on the Fans Only label is the CD 'Good Times In Promised Land - The Stax Recording Sessions'. The label does what more import labels do these days, continue series started by BMG. The cover mentions 'Essential Elvis Volume 8 73 - 74'. All takes come from other official and bootleg releases.

The sound quality is excellent, being both well balanced and exceptionally clear which allows us to enjoy these songs anew.

The 'SR' Import label will release I Sing My Own Kinds feturing the unreleased dinner show from August 10, 1971 plus part of the midnight show as recorded in Las Vegas.

The new Rainbow Records will release Vegas Variety, Vol. 2.

Opening Night - January 1970 will be the follow up to Madison's Hot August Night. This January 26, 1970 opening show recording was overall of poor quality because of severe microphone overload. It ain't perfect but now for the first time you will be able to enjoy this show from an excellent new source that has been greatly improved into a surprising fuller, dynamic and warmer sound.

We have revieved the tracklisting and images from the booklet of the upcoming Request Box show. This 2 CD set from the Southern Comfort / Audionics labels is a re-issue of Request Box Show released 18 years ago by the Bilko label and features the very rare August 19th & 20th shows. All remastered from the original 1975 audience-recording.

Released on the At Last Records import Label is a four track CD entitled Elvis Et Les Filles. The CD comes in its own in plastic sleeve, the cover is just single sheet of paper. Includes three duets by Lisa and Elvis, one Celine Dion and Elvis and 'Love Me Tender' - Elvis Presley and Linda Ronstadt.

To sum up, A Wild Weekend In Huntsville! Volume Two is another excellent production containing a previously unreleased show from this venue. As such I highly recommend it. Both the superior sound quality and attractive artwork are further advantages which make this a must for every collection.

In cooperation with the Southern Comfort / Baxter / Bilko and 2001 import labels the Audionics label will re-issue several old bootleg classics. The Request Box 2CD set will be released March 2008 after which Elvis' March 22, 1975 concert, A Hot Winter Night, Goodbye Memphis 76 and April Fool Day (audience recording), Opening Night 72 and others will see the light. All releases will be remastered from the original tapes, some of which obtained from The Colonel himself.

Cancelled - The Request Box is a re-issue of Request Box Show released 18 years ago by the Bilko label and features the very rare August 19th & 20th shows. Here's the info we have received with the artwork.

The new Reel Trax import label will release CD entitled 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. This CD, with a running time of 77 minutes comes with a 16 pages booklet with all the information regarding Elvis' love for gospel music.

Shortly after the soon-to-be released second volume of A Wild Weekend in Huntsville! the Madison label will release a CD titled Hot August Night featuring the August 12, 1972 Midnight Show as recorded from the soundboard at the Las Vegas Hilton.

We have additional and final info for the upcoming Rock Back the Clock CD. As Recorded live in Pontiac, Michigan, Silverdome, December 31, 1975/January 01, 1976. The main reason for this new and ultimate Pontiac '75 release is that the sound quality is excellent for an audiance recording. This new source is very clear and most importantly, almost echo-free because the person with recorder was sitting very close to the sound system. If you have any of the previous 'Straight Arrow' CD releases, then you know what to expect in design and sound quality.

The CD A Wild Weekend in Huntsville! - Volume Two featuring the June 1, 1975 afternoon show recorded from the mixing desk will be released in January 2008. The previous matinee performance in Huntsville was one of the best from this tour, and this one is as good if not better. The sound quality is also superior to the first volume with a fresh, dynamic, lively rocking sound.

High Voltage Birmingham '76 Revisited - As Recorded live from mixing desk in Birmingham, Alabama, Jefferson Coliseum, on December 29, 1976. All tracks mixed to stereo. To be released December '07.

A new CD titled 'Elvis - Greatest Hits Volume Two' will be release soon. This CD is reminiscent of the original volume one released by RCA with similar artwork.

The 'Straight Arrow' label will release a CD at the end of this year titled Rock Back The Clock (SA 2007-8-02). It will be a special release of Elvis' infamous first New Year's Eve show in Pontiac, Michigan.

Let It Roll is a Madison (2006) release and features unreleased '70s alternate takes & unedited studio material in excellent sound quality. The version of My Way on this is the original 1971 mix and is far superior to that found on the Essential '70s Masters box set. The ending is properly done. All the tracks on this CD are in full stereo and superb quality.
