Support; FTD (Follow That Dream), Sony BMG's Official Elvis Presley Collectors label, estabished to serve the dedicated Elvis collector and to complement the commercial and artistic level of RCA's retail release schedule by issuing repertoire that is considered of interest to serious Elvis fans and collectors, material that is generally not part of mainstream RCA label releases to the public at large.

There are the original Collectors CD's with CDs ranging from soundboard recorded concerts (Recorded from the mixing desk in mono) to full RCA professionally recorded concerts in stereo and some great alternate take CDs - Such as The Jungle Room Sessions and Memphis Sessions etc, later FTD introduced the Elvis Classic Album Series where they release the original Elvis albums in deluxe 7" size packaging with a booklet and a usually a second CD of out takes from the same period as the recordings on the album. There is also the Movie Soundtrack Series usually released as a single CD but again in deluxe 7" packaging with booklet.

Get Down And Dirty 2 CD Set: Rehearsal, 15 July, 1970 Culver City, LA

Get Down And Dirty will feature no less than 24 minutes extra from this July 15, 1970 studio rehearsal which was not made available before by Fort Baxter. The double CD will have a playing time of just under 100 minutes. The character of the rehearsal is different from the two previous acclaimed releases, 'The Brightest Star On Sunset Boulevard (2CD)" & 'Plugged In And Geared Up' by GRM. Its the second day of the rehearsal shooting, Elvis is studying songs, malfunctioning microphones, uncensored talking & singing. That’s one of the reasons to rename this historical rehearsal 'Get down and dirty'.

This audience recorded release will feature the complete performance of Elvis Presley's Las Vegas Dinner Show from exactly one week after his triumphant return to live appearances on July 31st, 1969. Due for release this week is the Elvis: The Return Of A Prodigy - The special 40th anniversary 'Elvis Live In Las Vegas 1969' Edition CD from Gravel Road Music. This is the August 3, 1969 Dinner Show, straight from the original '69 reference mix. It is completely remastered and edited. This is the earliest soundboard to date of Elvis first Las Vegas engagement in 1969 and is to date the closest you can get to the opening show of July 31st, 1969 and the music is very different from the late August released live performances.

It is very strong concert, containing the only known 1973 version of 'It's Now Or Never', rare 'Polk Salad Annie' performed only twice in 1973, part of 'Jailhouse Rock' and for 'rare live excerpts' fans there are bits of 'Guadalajara', 'Miracle Of The Rosary' and 'Farther Along'. This show was recorded by the same person as Dec. 02nd, 1976 concert and once again for our CD release, an original master tape will be used.
